Children's Pastors - Jason & Ginny Hurst

In today's world, children are searching for something, someone to connect to - something or someone to put their hope in. The purpose of Turkey Creek Community Church Children's Ministry - kidMAX - is to help children connect to the ultimate source of hope and love - Jesus Christ. kidMAX is a place for kids to learn about Jesus through worship, the teaching of the Word, and discipleship. At Turkey Creek Community Church, children will find a community where they're accepted and loved.

kidMAX Children's Ministry consists of the following age groups: Nursery, Pre-K, and K-5. kidMAX Nursery and Pre-K ministries meet in Theater 4. A caring, loving staff teach the children about God's love through Bible lessons, worship, and crafts.

Children aged K-5 meet in Theater 5. This ministry consists of called and anointed teaching and worship along with scripture memorization, skits, games, and fellowship. Children experience God's love and develop lasting relationships with Pastors Jason and Ginny, while meeting other kids with similar family values.

Sunday Check-in Process

If your child is new to kidMAX Children's Ministry, please come 10 minutes early to the theater to get familiar with the check-in process. You'll need to fill out a registration card at the kidMAX check-in desk. Volunteers there will check your children in. Volunteers will give you an ID number, and you'll be directed to the appropriate theater.

Parents are invited to return to pick up their kids when the sermon ends. You'll be asked to show your ID number at the check-in desk.

Safety and Security Measures

kidMAX takes all the precautionary measures it can to keep kids safe. All kidMAX Children's Ministry volunteers and staff have had a background check and verified as able to serve in the Children's Ministry.

During Sunday Services, no one is allowed in the Children's Ministry area unless they have a check-in ID or a Children's Ministry volunteer or staff badge. Children are not released to anyone unless they are able to present the ID number matching the number given at check-in. No one who has been convicted of a sex offense is allowed in the Children's Ministry - volunteer or parent.
