About Us

Turkey Creek Community Church is a brand new church plant (launching service January 6^th 2008). As in the birth of a new born baby, this ministry already is connected to a larger story. As a new born has a family history before birth, Turkey Creek Community Church is connected to the history of our parent church; Park West Church in West Knoxville. Park West is a church plant from the lives and ministry of Gerald and Dawn McGinnis (Pastor Jeremy's parents). 26 people started Park West 27 years ago (1980). Now, Park West stands as one of the most influential churches in our denomination (Church of God, Cleveland TN).

Turkey Creek Community Church grew from a passion and call in Jeremy's heart to minister to those who are disconnected from God. Park West Church sensing God's call to reach a culture that would never step in a traditional church building, planted Turkey Creek Community Church with prayer, support and enthusiasm. Turkey Creek Community Church simply is here because it is time for spiritual leaders to invite others to enter into conversation with God.

With an impassioned group of talented and called leaders from Park West Church, Turkey Creek Community Church sits in one of Knoxville's premier locations to serve as a reminder that God's love meets us where we live, shop and play.
